MULLED CIDER RETURNS TO THE BREWHOUSE

Home » Brewhouse News » MULLED CIDER RETURNS TO THE BREWHOUSE

Winter is approaching, snow forecast is on it’s way, and, as the first frost of the year creeps in, there’s no better place to be than here at the Brewhouse, in front of the crackling wood  fire, with a large cup of warm mulled cider in one hand.

The cider itself is a tradition here at the Brewhouse and has became somewhat infamous in the local area. The secret blend of herbs, spices, and fruits, infused into our gorgeous raspberry and apple ciders are the perfect winter warmer on these cold December days. Topped off with a mix of wine, spirits, and fresh fruit, this magical beverage is enough to put a smile on any frosty face.

The secret recipe, that has been passed down for generations of the Ross family, was first made here at the Brewhouse in 1996. Expecting it to be popular was an underestimate and, since then, we’ve learned that there can never be enough as it goes almost as soon as it’s made.

It must be the gorgeous scent of raspberries, wine, and spices, but, for some reason, as soon as it is heated the whole Brewhouse fills with winter cheer.  Served in a large festive glass for £3.50, the cider is definitely enough to make a visit to us at this time of year more than worthwhile.

Come along to the Brewhouse and enjoy a warm cup of Christmas goodness!
